You may ask, "Fructose is found in fruits, so it must be good because it's natural." The answer is OK and "NO" Fructose is sweetest of the many different types of sugars. Nature knows how to entice animals (including us - humans) with the very sweet sugar, FRUCTOSE. The fruit tree from nature wants us animals to eat its fruit and toss away its seed onto the earth so it can continue to grow another fruit tree. The processed food companies are doing the same thing by enticing our palates with the sweetest sugar in the form of High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS). The only difference between nature and the packaged food companies is fibre. Fruits from nature has lots of fibre while processed foods lack of it. Our animal bodies need to break down the fibre before we can get the fructose and glucose into our livers. So, fibre slows down the extraction of fructose.
