This time of year always feels like a mini-New Year, as the kids get ready to go back to school and we settle back into our regular routines.
Those who know me well know that I battled some pretty debilitating health issues over the winter. I was under bed rest a lot of the time and it was often pretty scary. It interfered with my work, my parenting and my training.
I had a wonderful support system. Both medical and at home. I am eternally grateful to everyone who stuck by me and helped me get through it. 
This spring and summer have been amazing. Stronger each day, I’ve been training hard and spending a lot of quality time with my family and those I love. I feel healthier and happier. 
So - this mini-New Year, I’ve made some resolutions. I encourage you to do the same! Let’s get a head start this year. Kick ass by January, and come next spring, we will all be way ahead of the game.
