No mace, no problem! Sometimes, you have to adapt. The mace brings counterweight tool, You can create your own with a short bar and some light plates. Here, I chose the @lesmillssmartbar The plates are 2.5kg/5.5lbs and 1kg/2.2lbs. Make sure your bar a decent knurling all the way to collars to ensure grip control. The @smartbar offers that. Off course, the balance and weight distribution are optimum compared to a steel mace but hey, you are the controller right! Take your time to adapt to the dynamics of the bar and when you feel ready, have fun! Fix it: place a bell between feet to give external cues for the receiving position at the bottom of the swing, ask to keep elbows to the body the all time and keep the chin tuck to keep spine neutral all the way. You can also practice facing a wall to learn to remain

An easy fix on the KB clean technique with my client @watchpower. On the left frame, we can see he's punching the bells out on the downphase generating an increased Forward tips resulting in receiving the bells below Knee level and missing the forearm/abdomen connection making the upward phase more demanding in the grip and arms as the hips cannot generate enough force through the extension. Fix it: place a bell between feet to give external cues for the receiving position at the bottom of the swing, ask to keep elbows to the body the all time and keep the chin tuck to keep spine neutral all the way. We include it in any sequence of the workout - warm-up/during/post - in this case, We use it as movement enabler for squats, KB and rotation. It acts as in-workout active recovery as well.
